Some answers to the questions we're normally asked
Safepay is a PCI-certified, auditor certified, service provider. We strive to get the highest certifications possible whenever required to ensure the security and stability of our systems in order to give our partners and their customers the peace of mind they need when making purchases online. All connections to our services are forced to happen over HTTPS using TLS 1.2 (SSL). We use HSTS to ensure browsers interact with Safepay only over HTTPS.
To learn more about our security policies please read our knowledge center.
Currently, you can use Safepay to charge your customers in Pakistani Rupees (PKR), United States Dollars (USD), Canadian Dollars (CAD), Great Britain Pounds (GBP), Euro (EUR), Emirati Dirham (AED), and Saudi Riyal (SAR).
Safepay currently has a singular transaction limit of up to PKR 250,000 (or the equivalent in USD) per transaction. Note that the higher the transaction value, the more likelihood the issuing bank of the cardholder will question the transaction. If you are expecting transactions of a larger size than this, please contact us.
To use Safepay your business must be registered with the relevant authorities in Pakistan. At a minimum you must be a registered sole propreitorship. To learn more about our merchant requirements and what information we collect on businesses as part of our Know-Your-Customer requirements, please read here.
